First Aid for Children and Infants in Essex
We offer two type of Child Care First Aid Courses here at Promed First Aid Training in Colchester. We are able to offer a Basic Care For Children Course. This course is ideal for Parents and Grand Parents who wish to learn First Aid that deals with just Children. We are happy to travel to your premises to conduct on site training for groups for this course, alternatively this can be conducted at our premises. Please see below for the course content:
Care For Children Course Content
- Communication and casualty care
- Managing an incident
- Assessing the Scene Protecting yourself and the casualty
- Child and infant CPR
- Treatment of severe bleeding and an unconscious casualty
- Treatment of choking in children and infants
- Course duration - Three hours
| We also offer the Surestart, NCMA, Ofsted Recommended 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course in Essex. This course is a prerequisite for those working within the ChildCare Industry or in a pre-school environment, such as Nannies, Childminders, Mother and Toddler Groups.
