12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course in Essex

This is the 2 Day 12 Hour Paediatric Child Care Course with Instructor Supervised practices. This Program teaches the appropriate CPR and First Aid Skills for the care of Infants and Children. This 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course is taught at our Training Rooms in Ipswich Road in Colchester Essex, and in our training rooms in Suffolk, Norfolk, East Anglia. This course is Open to Individual Child Minders and people working within the child care industry.

We also offer on site 12 Hour Paediatric Courses for Nurseries and Groups, subject to group numbers. We would be happy to have one of our First Aid Trainers visit your premises to conduct on site training. We will bring all the necessary training equipment to conduct on site training for you at a time convenient to yourselves.

This Course and is Ideal for Childminders, Nannies, and people who work in Child Care industry and is a requirement of Ofsted.

We have Baby size Mannequins so that you are able to practice CPR and how to manage a choking situation on a small baby. The course will include DVD and Power Point segments with hands on practice in groups, with plenty of opportunity to work as a rescuer.

This course meets the First Aid Requirements of Ofsted for the Early Years Foundation Stage standards, the National Childminding Association, the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and the Department for Children, Schools and Families Surestart, NCMA guidelines for Paediatric First Aid. If you are Professionally involved in the care of Children this is the recommended course for you.

You will learn how to protect yourself as a rescuer as well as the people you may care for in an emergency. You will be given up to date medical information presented in a relaxed low stress learning environment and you will receive a certificate and plastic wallet size card upon successful completion of the course.

Group Discounts
If you have a nursery or have a group who need to complete this course, we can arrange for a Trainer to come to you, or if you prefer your group can be trained at our premises in Colchester, Essex, or at our other centre's in Suffolk.

Discount will be subject to numbers and we need a minimum of 6 persons to a maximum of twelve. Our friendly professional advisors will be happy to help you to organise the training to suit you.

It is also recommended by the HSE that the students carry our an Annual First Aid Refresher Course every year to keep their First Aid Skills up to date, and to protect against "Skills Fade". Optional Additions.
