Paediatric First Aid for Children and Infants in Essex

This is the 2 Day 12 Hour Paediatric Child Care Course with Instructor Supervised practices. This Program teaches the appropriate CPR and First Aid Skills for the care of Infants and Children. This 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course is taught at our Training Rooms in Ipswich Road in Colchester Essex, and in our training rooms in Suffolk, Norfolk, East Anglia. We also offer on site training for this course, subject to group numbers and we would be happy to have one of our First Aid Trainers visit your premises to conduct on site training.

This Course and is Ideal for Childminders, Nannies, and people who work in Child Care, Schools, and Mother and Toddler Groups. Our Training is conducted around Essex including Colchester, Chelmsford, Clacton, Braintree, Tendring, also throughout Suffolk, East Anglia, Norfolk including Ipswich, Cambridge, Norwich, Diss, Thetford, Bury st Edmunds, London. We have Baby size Mannequins so that you are able to practice CPR and how to manage a choking situation on a small baby. The course will include DVD segments with hands on practice in groups of three, with plenty of opportunity to work as a rescuer.

This course meets the First Aid Requirements of Ofsted for the Early Years Foundation Stage standards, the National Childminding Association, the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and the Department for Children, Schools and Families Surestart, NCMA guidelines for Paediatric First Aid. Group Discounts

If you have a nursery or have a group who need to complete this course, we can arrange for a Trainer to come to you, or if you prefer your group can be trained at our premises in Colchester, Essex, or at our other centres in Suffolk, Norfolk, East Anglia.

Discount will be subject to numbers and we need a minimum of 6 persons to a maximum of twelve. Our friendly professional advisors will be happy to help you to organise the training to suit you.

You will learn how to protect yourself as a rescuer as well as the people you may care for in an emergency. You will be given up to date medical information presented in a relaxed low stress learning environment and you will receive a certificate and plastic wallet size card upon successful completion of the course.

It is also recommended by the HSE that the students carry our an Annual First Aid Refresher Course every year to keep their First Aid Skills up to date, and to protect against "Skills Fade". Optional Additions.

We are able to offer training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as an Additional Module at your request. There is a discounted rate for the AED Course when added to any of our other courses.
