This One Day Emergency First Aid Course in Essex is designed for teachers
and support staff who work within the school environment.
By the end of the course the delegates
will:.
- Understand the Role of a First Aider
- Know How to Report Incidents
- Understand the Importance of Barriers
- Know How to Access the Scene and Situation
- Demonstrate First Aid and CPR Safely and Effectively
- Demonstrate how to treat Bleeding and Wounds

- Provide First Aid For Minor Injuries
- Recognize Signs of Shock and deal with them
- Demonstrate how to Administer First Aid to a Casualty who is Unconscious, and or in a Seizure
- Recognize the Signs of anaphylactic Shock

All the above topics include relevant information to adults,
children & babies. The course will be assessed and will result in a One Day Appointed Person Certification.
