We offer First Aid Training for Schools throughout Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk. Courses are offered to children from the age of 10 who are interested in learning Basic First Aid either to accompany their course work or who have a general interest in learning.
By the end of the course the delegates
will:
- Understand the Role of a First Aider
- Know How to Report Incidents
- Understand the Importance of Barriers
- Know How to Access the Scene and Situation
- Demonstrate First Aid and CPR Safely and Effectively
- Demonstrate how to treat Bleeding and Wounds

- Provide First Aid For Minor Injuries
- Recognize Signs of Shock and deal with them
- Demonstrate how to Administer First Aid to a Casualty who is Unconscious, and or in a Seizure
- Recognize the Signs of anaphylactic Shock
- Duration 3 Hours Approximate

All the above topics include relevant information to adults and
children. The course will be assessed and will result in a Basic First Aid Certificate being issued.
